As an artist since the age of nine, I remember my first exposure to the art world, painting by the numbers. This simple basic paint sets helped me to see shading and color contrasts.

A friend of mine mentioned that with all of my experience and talent that I should help others find their way to the art world and teach them how to paint. The more I thought about it the more I felt I could offer my experience to others.

I began my research on the web and was amazed to find very few sites that taught the basics in painting pictures, and thus started this blog.

I tried lots of different painting techniques, some helped and some didn’t, I’m going to be telling you about some of them on this blog.
